Pork cheek with Cauliflower Puree and Apple Walnut salad

Ingredients:

  • 9 pieces of pork cheek
  • 1/2 kg fat
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Smoked salt flakes (if you have but not necessary)

Preparation:

I used a slow cooker for this recipe.

Melt the fat and pour it in the slow cooker.

Clean the pork cheeks and add them to the fat.

Cover it and cook on the highest temperature for 8 hours.

Then take them out of the slow cooker and add the salt flakes, salt and pepper.

Ingredients for the salad:

  • 1 apple
  • 20g walnut
  • 1 pack of mixed salad
  • 2-3 tbsp balsamic vinegar

Preparation:

Pour the salad mix in a big bowl.

Peel the apple and cut it to thin slices then add to the salad.

Chop the walnuts and add to the bowl and pour the balsamic vinegar on the top.
