Roasted Turkey Thighs

Ingredients:

  • 1.5kg turkey thighs
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 1 lemon juice
  • White wine
  • Red onion
  • Garlic
  • Rosemary
  • Oil

Preparation:

Wash the turkey thighs and dry them.

Make cuts on the thighs and push the garlic inside with a knife.

Add salt and pepper.

Make cuts on the side of the turkey that will face up in the pan.

Add the lemon juice and put the lemon in the pan.

Pour olive oil on them.

Sprinkle rosemary on the top of the thighs.

Cut two big red onion to pieces and put it in the pan with a couple of cloves of garlic.

Pour 100ml wine and 100ml water in the pan.

Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celcius with convection.

Cook in the oven for ten minutes then cook for 2 – 2.5 hours at 130-140 degrees Celcius but don’t cover the pan.

Take them out from the oven and put them on a cutting board and cover it for an hour.

Slice the meat before serving and add gravy on the top.
