Keto Lasagne
- 4 zucchinis
- 1kg minced meat
- 1 red onion
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 1 can of tomatoes
- Salt and Pepper
- 1 tsp dry oregano and basil
- 2 tsp red pepper
- Oil
- 300g cottage cheese
- 100g bacon
- 100ml red wine
- 100g parmesan cheese
Preparation:
Cut the red onion, crush the garlic and start to cook with oil and add salt.
Cut the bacon and add it to the onion.
After a couple of minutes add the minced meat and cook until the meat is white.
Add the tomato, red wine, spices, salt, and pepper.
Cook slowly for about 15 minutes.
Wash the zucchinis and cut them to thicker slices.
When the meat is cooked add the cottage cheese but don’t cook it.
Ingredients for Béchamel sauce:
- 3 tbsp arrowroot powder
- 400ml milk
- 100g butter
- Salt and white pepper
Preparation:
Start to melt the butter in a bowl then add a little bit of the milk and the arrowroot powder.
Keep stirring and slowly add milk to it.
Add salt, and white pepper.
Putting it all together:
In a large oven pan put two layers of zucchini.
Then put one layer of meat and zucchini again and add the rest of the meat.
Pour the bechamel sauce on the top and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
Cover with aluminum foil.
Cook in the oven for 40 minutes at 180 degrees Celcius.
Take off the aluminum foil and cook for a couple more minutes.
After cooking put the foil back and leave it to rest for 30 minutes.
