Ingredients for the Meatballs:
- 1kg minced meat
- 50g almond flour but you can leave this out
- 1 egg
- Salt and Pepper
- 2 cloves of crushed onion
- 1/2 grated lemon peel
- Fresh parsley
Ingredients for the sauce:
- Half cup white wine
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp capers
- 50g butter
- 1 tsp grated lemon peel

Preparation:
Mix the meat, eggs, salt, pepper, garlic, lemon peel, parsley, and almond flour together.
Make balls and cook them in oil until they turn to a golden brown.
For the sauce use the same pan that you used for cooking the meatballs.
Add wine and lemon juice and mix them together.
Add the cut capers and cook for 5 more minutes.
After cooking add the butter and the lemon peel.
Stir until the butter melts.
When serving, pour the sauce on top of the meatballs.
For side dish make mashed potatoes or cauliflower puree.
