Zuppa Toscana

Ingredients:

  • 200g sausage
  • 6 slices of bacon
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 red onion
  • 1kg potatoes
  • 3 carrots
  • Half bunch of kale
  • 1L chicken stock
  • 1 can of coconut milk
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Half tsp chilli flakes

Prepartion:

Cut the bacon and sausage.

Start to cook them in a pan with fat.

Cut the onion and add to the bacon then add the crushed garlic and cut carrots.

Cut the potatoes to small pieces.

Cook for 5 minutes and add the potatoes.

Pour in the chicken stock and add pepper and the chilli flakes.

When the potatoes are soft add the coconut milk and cook until it starts to boil.

Then stop cooking and add the sliced kale.

Cover for 10 minutes and it’s ready.
