Pickled Cucumber at Home

Ingredients:

  • 2kg smaller cucumber
  • 2 packs of dill
  • Salt
  • Water
  • 2 chilli peppers
  • 4-6 cloves of garlic
  • Bread

Wash the big glass jar, the cucumbers and peppers.

Toast one side of the bread in a pan.

Cut the sides off the cucumber.

Pour water in a bowl and add 1 tbsp of sea salt for every liter of water.

Heat it up but don’t boil it.

Put one slice of bread on the bottom of the glass.

Add the dill and put the cucumbers in with the peppers too.

Add the other half of the dill on the top and add water until it’s covered.

Put another slice of bread on the top and close it.

Keep it in a light room.

In around 4 days it will be ready.
